I've built my first test QML app for BB 10 and trying to run it on simulator, however got error 8. Quick google around shows that the problem that the app built for arm arch. The question is - how to build the app for x86 arch to be able to run it on simulator?
Host platform: win7 64bit

You need to build the Qt libs in x86 against the bb10 NDK.
Follow the directions HERE for the x86 configure line, of course be sure that the bb10 NDK environment is setup before you run configure. I found that the pbNDK and the bb10NDK did not work together so if your using the bb10NDK be sure to unistall the pbNDK, at least that was my experience on my linux box.
I use linux so I am not sure what to tell you windows folks on how to configure the libs...
I have a set of compiled libs for bb10 in x86 that I built on May 19. If anybody wants them just give me a place to upload them and I will. You folks using windows can use them and then not have to worry about configuring your own libs.
I am assuming you understand how to manage the configurations in creator once you have them built? I believe I made a detailed post on here several months back on how to manage the configurations.... If you cant figure it out or find the post let me know and I can explain, it is pretty strait forward.
