Re: i can run sample applications but cannot run newly created applications

1) is your source under the src directory?

2) is your source or headers under subdirectories?

You should probably compare your makefile/pro to the sample apps and see how they differ.

Re: i can run sample applications but cannot run newly created applications

The make files are exactly the same.

Re: i can run sample applications but cannot run newly created applications

1)Yes my source is under the src directory. If you mean the main file and hpp and cpp files.

2) I don't understand what you mean by headers please elaborate.

Re: i can run sample applications but cannot run newly created applications

There are two ways to run the example programs.

1.  Download the code and build from there.

2.  Follow along on one of the tutorials where it explicitly tells you what to do in the IDE as well as what code to write.

If you do the second it should walk you through the process to where you can insert your own code instead of the sample code.

If you haven't done this yet, that would be my suggestion.

Otherwise, I don't have any other ideas.

Best of luck.
