is there any global stack of screen like in java?

To developers,

Right now, i'm trying to study about migrating my java native bb app to cascade.

I'm a bit confuse about navigation in cascade..


In java, we can use push or pop screen in any class code.

But in cascade, we have to use navigationPane and tabbedPane. Both of them have to register their inner page. So, what can i do if i want to move from screen (in navigationPane) to another screen (tabbedPane) ?

What if i want to push another screen that i've created as QML file? (by not using deprecatedPushQmlByString)

Can somebody explain me more about navigation between screen? I've already see https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/documentation/ui/navigation/index.html but still feel navigation between screen in java is better.

NavigationPane can push and pop but can't be mixed with TabbedPane. You are right about pushing another screen (.qml file) through deprecatedPushQmlByString, right now, that's the only way, I would suggest you to stay tunned about it and please, request a feature about this in Issue Tracker: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Developer-Issue-Tracker/td-p/271768
