libbps Dialog updates vs threading

I'm having a problem with dialogs on libbps. The problem only started happening recently after I updated the NDK and simulator. I'm currently using the 2.0 (release) version of the NDK and 2.0.0.7971 of the simulator.

I have a multi-threaded application. In my main thread, I can call dialog_update() and any updates to dialog texts are shown on screen. However, if I call the same function from a different thread, the dialog isn't updated.

I'm wondering if this is due to some of the threading changes in libbps.so.3. Any ideas?

Re: libbps Dialog updates vs threading

Yes, you are correct.  You need to make all your dailog calls on the same thread.

Re: libbps Dialog updates vs threading

Sorry, what I said was not quite accurate.

When a dialog is created, the events that are associated with that dialog will go to that thread. Any thread can create a dialog.
