libcurl options in BB10 questions

Hi guys

I'm using the multimedia renderer and I'm trying to stream with SSL.

I'm using the mmr_context_parameters() function

The following pages have a list of parameters of the multimedia renderer that map to libcurl options:

I've used options like "OPT_USERAGENT" and "OPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER", which are in the list and work in the app.
...but, if I understand well, I must use "OPT_SSLCERT" and choose a .pem file for the handshake.
When I attempt to use "OPT_SSLCERT", which is not on the list, it seems no certificate is sent during the handshake.

Are some curl options unavailable in BB10?
Is there any workaround?
What can I do to stream video with SSL?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I don't have much experience...

Re: libcurl options in BB10 questions

Thanks for the interest.

We're still making tests.

What we've tried, is playing .m3u8 files from Internet.

If they don't require SSL, they are played corectly.

What we are doing now, is trying to play local .m3u8 files from the /data folder. These do not require SSL. Their inner urls still point to valid video chunks on Internet, so our guess is that they should work, but instead we get an errno 48 (not supported).

It does not make sense, it seems .m3u8 files only work when read from Internet, not locally, even when all inner urls are not relative, but http:// links.

What we want to do now, is see if we can "host" some .m3u8 files through an in-app server...

Hopefully, the errno 48 problem will be gone.

Anyone got pointers on how to do this?
