libffbb writing to flv file

It's my understanding that libffbb (https://github.com/MartinMReed/libffbb) is using ffmpeg to write the webcam into a video file on the device. I see in the example project (https://github.com/MartinMReed/FFCameraSample) where the codec and filename are being set. I know ffmpeg is very versatile in moving video from one codec to another (and one container to another).

What I want to do is use libffbb to write the camera to a .flv file (and to play the .flv file). I have tried using different codecs and saving to a .flv file. My only success has come with using the H263P codec. When I run the file in VLC, it displays the video. But I noticed that the file isn't actually in an FLV container. When I run VideoSpec on the file, it shows "Vivo" as the container. Using other codecs usually results in an unplayable file.

Does anyone know if this is possible with libffbb? Am I just missing the proper codec? Or does libffbb only allow for .mpg with the way it uses ffmpeg?
