newbie Q: dynamic view

Hi all,

just started with Cascades development (day night tutorial) and am not familiar with the Cascades terminology yet.

I want to create an App where the user can define arbitary attributes and control types (such as select list, range, boolean) for values to record event data. So the view would consist entirely of controis dependent on the users configuration.

What are the right keywords to look up the documentation? Is there a tutorial that describes this use case?

Thanks for any help / hint,

Re: newbie Q: dynamic view

welcome to the support forums.

you will find the general documentation at developer.blackberry.com, there are also many samples. A good overview of the available UI components is offered by the cascades cookbook sample.

I would suggest that you take inventory of the available components, then think about how you can realize your usecase with them.
If you miss something special you can also write your own custom components.
