sending a signal to a qml component from c++ class?

hey gang,

I'm having trouble figuring out how to send a signal to a qml component from a c++ class.

i have a little app that puts a thread in the background and listens for bps events.

when it receives certain events, i want this class to emit a signal and update a UI slider control with the current value.

so far, this is all working.  i can see the thread spin off and i can see it process messages as they come.

I have also caught the messages/events i'm interested in, and i'm emitting a signal.  that signal is received by another class file successfully, so i know the signal is being emitted.

but i can't figure out how to make a slider control change though when a signal is emitted.

how do you do this?

thx,

oddboy
