setScene crashes application

I have an app with two main screens. One uses a navigation (sign in page) and the other a Tabbed Pane (Main). Both screens have controls to jump to each other depending on the user action. E.g. User logs out the setScene will be (sign in) and aftre the user logs in the setScene will be (Main). This behaviour though crashes the app. Both are QML and have the app as parent. The Tabbed Pane is complex as the pages in the tab host NavigationPanes as well.

I have tried to use a navigationPane to swtich between the two from C++ but that still doesn\t work.. I am open to implementation suggestions.

Please Help!

Re: setScene crashes application

Hi,

While swapping the scenes should also work, the easiest approach is displaying a login page in a Sheet. Sheet's peek feature can be optionally disabled. Some sample code:

It's better to post Cascades questions in Cascades forum section.

Re: setScene crashes application

I have used the Sheet method and that solved one aspect. I will post the rest of this in the cascades section as you suggested.
