hi there, can a user for example delete the conf file from data folder?

also in case application uninstalled the conf file disappears with it right?

You're welcome, yes if an app is uninstalled the data folder is deleted to.

 

If you want to keep persistent data across deletes as well you are looking at either;

 

 1) storing in the shared folders

 2) implementing a backup to cloud storage

 3) storing on your own server

 

1 & 2 are obviously not secure (unless you encrypt the file) and deleteable by the user.

3 could be made secure either by encryption or server access permission but would not be deleteable by the user.
