texture compression and releasing



According to the documention any blackberry device could have any texture compression. similiarly to android. If i want to compress my textures can i have 4 seperate uploads of my app? 1 for each compression? or do i need to generate 1 upload and interweive the compressed texture and fallback to RGB uncompressed if all else fails?
