trouble installing native SDK

i downloaded the native sdk and tried installing it however i got to the location part and it wont accept its defualt location that it has picked, or others for that matter. Any ideas as to how i can get around this ?

Did you already have a previous installment there?

If so uninstall and delete that folder then try again.

I am running windows 8. I have not had this program installed before. I am the computer administrator. The error states that I do not have write permission for that file location. That is the default location that was picked
