I applied for Build for Blackberry and got the following response:
To qualify for the Built for BlackBerry designation, your app needs these improvements:
The application allows the user to make in-app purchases.
5. Select Credit Card under Payment Method.
6. Notice the application allows the user to input credit card information to make in-app purchases.
You must use the BlackBerry Payment service
I do not understand this. I thought BB Payment service is always used when I use the paymanet_manager API.
I read the docs but found no further explanation on this. I even did not find a way how to control the payment
method. Has someone seen a similar problem?

Sounds like the tester was a bit confused, the BlackBerry Payment Service will prompt the user to enter a payment method if one is not already set up.

you should not ask the user his credit card number directly, you have to use the BB payment service directly, so it will be safe for the user to make an in-app purchase.

He actually was/is using the Payment Service, the testing team just got a bit confused as they did not have a payment option set up in their account.
