I used this sample to setup the payment service, and in test mode everything appears to work & I get the success/error messages I setup. But when testing my app in production mode after clicking purchase it says processing payment and then disappears without updating the succes code or producing an error message. My paypal account has sufficent funds and wasn't charged
Not sure what's causing it to not work properly, everything appears to be correct to me
targeted platform version: 10.0.9.2372
I have verified that
id - matches
sku - matches
name - matches (has spaces if that makes a difference)
metadata - identical to name
it is non consumable with a static license
short description - identical to name
long description is a long description (210 characters)

How was your app installed to device?
Is your BBID listed as a sandbox account in the vendor portal?
What language was used to create the app?

If your account is in the sandbox then you wouldn't get charged, though you should still receive a valid response from the purchase attempt.

in test mode it does as you said but in production instead of giving a response it just disappears about 1.5s after clicking upgrade, havent tried it with any other id than mine but at nearly 1k downloads over 2 days i'm sure someone has & currently there has been no successful purchase logged in the reports so I don't think it's the sandbox account

the upgrade method is no longer live, i pulled it last night
I used Cascades as the link to the example i followed shows

all versions prior to 184.108.40.2068 had the upgrade button in the settings menu but I pulled it last night because I dont want something that isn't working to be live I can add you to the sandbox and push a new release with the upgrade ability back, but I don't want to put it live again until I can verifiy it's working correctly

So by "pulled" you mean you added a new higher version?
I can't test if I don't have something to test, but can tell you that the Payment Service is working as expected, so this would likely be a coding error...
