On BlackBerry 10 is there an equivalent to the Android Purchase Status API that permits a backend server to verify an in-app purchase.
Simplified sequence of events:
1. User makes in-app purchase.
2. App receives bb:latform:urchaseReceipt
3. App sends receipt to backend server
4. Backend server validates receipt with BlackBerry World server.
5. Backend server informs app that purchase completed.
I have not been able to discover documentation that indicates support for Step 4.
If this is not currently supported, is it on the roadmap?

There's no service like this currently, but there is one on the roadmap. No timeline for when it may be available though.

Sorry, I meant the internal roadmap. Once we have a time we can share publicly it will be posted externally, but at this time we don't.
The service would be designed for use by a server to verify purchases. It's all still early in planning, but I don't see any reason it couldn't also be done from the device.

thanks for your quick answer, just to clarify, I meant server to server validation, using a receipt # or something that this kind of service ussually has and currently the payment service doesn't provide.

Any chance you have any word on the status of this purchase receipt verification backend?
Is it still happening? Is there a date in sight?
Thanks a lot!
