WebWorks vs Qt

Is it better to develop a WebWorks application or Qt?

Re: WebWorks vs Qt

That's a pretty subjective question.  But, go with WebWorks if you are concerned about portability to other mobile platforms, and separate your business logic from your UI as cleanly as you can.

Re: WebWorks vs Qt

Yes, I have AIR apps on BlackBerry.  AIR is no longer supported on BlackBerry 10 however.

Re: WebWorks vs Qt

PlayBook and BlackBerry 10.  I mis-spoke a bit - AIR on BlackBerry 10 is supported, but only for a few more months, until 10.3.1 operating system is release.  After that release, users who upgrade will no longer be able to use their AIR apps.  The PlayBook is legacy - it will not receive any operating sytem updates, so the AIR runtime will not be removed from PlayBook.

Is AIR one of the technologies you are considering?

I really do not think that I do not like lol...
So I just wonder about these technologies alone.

The PlayBook truth no longer updates its operating system?

Re: WebWorks vs Qt

I don't quite understand your reply, but no, the PlayBook has not been updated in a long time and is no longer supported with OS updates.

Re: WebWorks vs Qt

Well, there was one update recently but if I recall correctly it was only to issue a security patch for the AIR runtime - in other words, limited in scope to a critical maintenance patch.
