BB 10 signing keys changing

Hi all,

I am trying to change the signing keys to some other keys. I did it like,

1. I go to sign PREFERENCE PAGE and keep BACK UP for my Current sign keys

2. I selected RESTORE-> chose the target sign keys bar file(to which I want to change)

3.Given corresponding target sign keys Password and click Ok.

now my question is ,Do I need to change the current Certificate ,debug tokens to Target Certificate ,debug tokens? Is there any some other Procedure in BB 10 for changing signing keys?

Please Help,
Thanks!!!

Re: BB 10 signing keys changing

This article explains how to back up and restore keys.  You don't need to back up debug tokens.  You can just create another whenever you need it.

Re: BB 10 signing keys changing

It's up to you.  The company name for the application comes from the Developer Certificate (author.p12).  So if you want that to change you'll need to create a new one.
