Change Blackberry Application Name on Upgrade

Hi,

I am developing midlet based application, translated to COD.

We already have application on the market with appname (say A), on upgrade I need to change the appname (say B)

how do I do that...

I tried changing the cod name, but it is getting installed as new application (leaving the app A on the device).

Any help is appreciated...

Re: Change Blackberry Application Name on Upgrade

Update the name in the blackberry_app_descriptor.xml file, located in the Eclipse project.

Re: Change Blackberry Application Name on Upgrade

Hi,

Thanks for your reply...

But my application is a J2ME midlet... converted to RIM (using rapc).

I dont have any blackberry_app_descriptor.xml. If I change the midlet name, the application is installed as a seperate application.

If tried changing the RIM-module-code-name but still no luck...
