Code Signing Nightmare

Hi All

Please can someone help me with getting the BB10 signing working?

In QNX I have been into Signing preferences and it says I am registered.  To check, I clicked UnRegister, exited QNZ, went back in and restored my signing keys using the restore button.  This asked me to point to the zip file I received from Rim.

When I Export > Blackberry > Release Build it shows the following error:

Error: Certificate chain not found for RDK. RDK must reference a valid KeyStore key entry containing a private key and corresponding public key certificate chain.

Now I have client-PBDT-xxxxx.csj and client-RDK-xxxxx.csj files but what do I do with them?  When I register for signing it just asks for a zip file.

Have I missed something here?

Re: Code Signing Nightmare

A bit more info:

I have checked the /users/Paul/Local Settings/Application Data/Research In Motion folder and in there are the barsigner.csk and db files along with the author file.

Re: Code Signing Nightmare

Found the problem.

basically the files author.pi2, barsigner.csk and barsigner.db had been placed in the folder ' /users/Paul/Local Settings/Application Data/Research In Motion

They needed to go in 'c:\users\paul\appdata\local\research in motion'.

This fixed the issue Smiley Happy
