Device for Testing

So I've decided to jump on the BlackBerry development band wagon and I want to buy a device for testing apps on.

As of today (March 30, 2013), it appears that the PlayBook is not sold by any of the retailers listed on BlackBerry's site.

The Z10 phone just came out the other day, but all the retailers in the US seem to want you to sign up for a phone plan just to buy the device. I don't need another phone...

So how to I go about obtaining a device for testing?

Re: Device for Testing

At first time, i think, you can use simulator for developing and testing.

When your app will be ready to publish, you can asked your friends to test it on device.

When i started to develop for Blackberry, i haven't my own device for testing and used simulator. But now i have Playbook and Dev Alpha (that is changing for BB10LE at this time), that RIM send to me for my application's by developer's programs.
