Re: Error while signing my BlackBerry 10 app (Error: Keystore load)

Were barsigner.csk and barsigner.db both created?  Can you open up barsigner.db and see if you seen entries for both RDK and PBDT (don't paste it's contents here)?

Yes - both of those files were created with the same timestamp. However oniy the PBDT entry exists in the barsigner.db file.

Try to install the csj file with RDK in the name again.  Doesn't look like that one went through.

Re: Error while signing my BlackBerry 10 app (Error: Keystore load)

I ran the Config Wizard again and tried to register the RDK CSJ file by itself. In doing so I get the same error as before in that I need new keys because there are no more registration attempts for this key.

So, am I back to square one again in that I need new keys again?

Yes, you'll need another CSJ file for RDK.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for getting back to me. I will request the new keys and get back to you shortly with a (hopefully successful) response.

Re: Error while signing my BlackBerry 10 app (Error: Keystore load)

Mark,

Great news.- it worked! Here is what I did:

  1. I cleaned out the three files in the AppData\Local\Research In Motion folder before I started.
  2. I got my new pins and ran them through the Graphical Aid tool. I created a new author.p12 certificate and re-set the pins using the configuration wizard.
  3. I then checked to make sure that the barsigner.db file had a line for both the RDK and PDBT keys.
  4. I then ran a WebWorks build successfully. I then tried to run a Ripple Package & Sign and that built successfully as well.

Thanks for all your help with this issue. I appreciate it! You can now close this thread.
