I have a popular BB7 application built for a client.
I had originally created the application when I worked at that clients office. Since I have left and am working from home on my own laptop. Unfortunately I did not transfer the signing keys instead I made new ones. Which wasn't a problem before but now I want to update that application for BB10.
When I try to publish it says the app ID has changed, which I'm told is because of the keys. Who can I contact to have the application ID reset. It's very important to the client that this application be availible for BB10 launch and I've already done the programming to make sure it works.

BlackBerry OS 7.x and lower use different code signing keys than BlackBerry 10 (and PlayBook).
Can you confirm if you are trying to update a PlayBook/BlackBerry 10 application or add a BAR file to the same product for the first time?

That makes sense then. You can contact BlackBerry World Vendor Support to have them clear the flag, allowing you to submit using a different key.
Just keep this in mind if you do choose to release an udpate for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
