Google BlackBerry 10 sideloading. The are several GUI and command line tools you can use for this, and even a Google Chrome plugin that will do it.

first i download chrome
second i download plabook app manager
third i add the playbook manager extension
fourth i have to connect my device to the pc
fifth i have to write the ip 169.254.0.1
sixth i add the bar to install it

this is no problem for me. but its not professionl for the client.

Re: How can I demo my app to client?

Unfortunately, no. There is no other way on BB10 to send your client a bar file and have them install it. BlackBerry just doesn't give us the tools, other than sideloading. On legacy BBOS7 and earlier we had OTA installs, but that doesn't work on BB10.

There is only one other way I can think of that you could get your bar file onto your client's device and that is to add them to your BlackBerry World sandbox accounts. That way they can just do a normal BBWorld download, but this feature is not really designed for this. You would need to create a new BBWorld release just for your clients to download with a higher release number than your app's current official build.

If your client can install the BB10 SDK on their local computer(s), then you should be able to create a debug token using the PIN(s) of their BB10 devices, send it to them and have them install it on their devices, and then use that debug token to sign builds of their app and send it to them for installation on their devices.

Re: How can I demo my app to client?

The Momentics wizard should walk you through creating a debug token.  You probably already used it when you set up your own device, but maybe it has been a long time and you forgot about it.

You need the PIN(s) of the clients' device(s).

Debug tokens are good for 30 days.

Create the debug token using their PIN(s) and send it to the client.  The client will have to install the token

on their device(s).

Then sign your builds with the debug token and send the signed bar files to the client.

Re: How can I demo my app to client?

Oh and don't worry about "only good for 30 days" - once they expire you just generate a new one.
