'Java' is not recognized as an internal or external command

The title message is what pops up when I try to install the test sketch app onto the simulator.  I have looked around and I believe I have the syntax right but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks..

D:\my company\App Development\Blackberry\bbwp\blackberry-tablet-sdk\bin>

blackberry-deploy -installApp -device 192.168.142.128 -package "C:\Users\Amir
Muslim\Downloads\bin\sketchPadStandard.bar" -password *******

'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Re: 'Java' is not recognized as an internal or external command

You first install jdk 1.6 and then set the java path.

For setting the java path, open command prompt and write

path=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_07\bin

Thank you so much.  I finally reached the beginning of app development for the playbook.

You'll need to add the directory where blackberry-deploy is located to your path and/or execute the command from the directory it is located in.
