Which country are you trying to download from?

I'm from Serbia.
MDS integrated in SDK and JDE (not sure which version is it) doesn't work within LAN where real Blackberry server lives, but it does work when I use it outside of that LAN. I thought perhaps separate download is somewhat newer and can fix this problem.

That download is not newer than what is included in the BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse.
Can you elaborate on the issue are you trying to solve?

I have a PC at work where simple http test app wouldn't work with Eclipse. It just wouldn't connect to http server and timed out after some time with MDS started. In the same private network segment I have real BB server with real MDS.
At the same time BB Browser on simulated BB979 worked just fine but it could be that it falded back from MDS to http.
Then I installed app on my real world BB and everything worked just fine but with real MDS (not simulated one).
I'm convinced that it's some kind of problem with MDS simulator.
I had to play with MDS simulator to make it startup with BB simulator. It could be that i touched something that i shodn't have at that time.
Then I tried to install it on my home PC and it all worked just fine. Of course, I couldn't access the same internal web server but after publishing it on firewall everything was working fine.
Since I already have newest MDS version, I will just try to make clean install from scratch and see what happens.
Thanks for help!

If you have a proxy server in your corporate environment you'll need to configure it in the MDS-CS Simulator. This link explains how.
