I recently started working at a new company and I need to set up my Native Development environment to deploy their app (via debug tokens) and to sign the app.
What is the process/workflow for signing when you are managing two vendor accounts and their apps?
Generating Author File
Please help! How do you generate the author file for the second account using the native workflow? Where is the command line utility in Windows/Mac for doing this?
What to backup? How to Switch?
Thank you for your help.

The ability to switch isn't built into the BlackBerry Native SDK. But you can do it by backing up and deleting one set of keys and restoring another. Just make sure to delete your debug tokens as well.
Code signing keys are tied to your account on your computer. So an alternative approach is to have a different login for each set of keys.

I was following the documentation. Here's what I have successfully done so far:
1) Registered new keys
On Mac. I pressed "Create certificate" in the Signing Wizard. It seems to have generated a file, however the Author name is empty, even though I typed it into the field. [see attached screencapture]
(By the way, I deleted the other vendor .p12 file from its default location before starting this wizard. Not sure if that has anything to do with this error.)
CREATING DEBUG TOKEN ERROR
See screencapture 2. "Certificate file does not exist".
How do I resolve these errors? How do I create a certificate file?

If the BlackBerry Native SDK was open when you deleted the author.p12, restart it before creating the new one.

I restarted Momentics. Seems the problem was that the Author field did not accept commas or periods unless those characters were escaped.
The issue is now solved.

Did you mean "now solved", or is there still a problem?
