Version number for BB10 release of existing PlayBook app

Are there any requirements / conventions / best practices concerning the version number of an app ported to a new platform?

My existing PlayBook app has gone through several updates and is now at 1.1.2. The new BB10 version contains a few new (BB10-specific) features, so in that respect it should be a higher number, but at the same time it's the first ever BB10 version with a whole new set of potential bugs (well, hopefully not - but seeing it's not even been tested on a full BB10 system, I guess things could go wrong), so in that respect it's more of a 1.0 version ...

Any thoughts? Does it matter for the vendor portal? (maybe it won't even allow you to submit a lower release number for the same skew ...?)

The version number only matters for your own records and to show the public that its new. I wouldn't worry about  it at all.
