Advice on Navigation and Layout

Hi all. I'm sure some of you have seen me posting various questions on scrolling issues using scrolling div. And I just realised that scrolling div and fixed headers. are not suitable for trackpad/trackball navigation.

Can anyone please advise me this please. Because the app I'm developing needs to have fixed headers and also user requested that they would like to scroll vertically and horizontally using trackpad/trackball.  Is there any solution or workaround for this problem?

Thank you.

Re: Advice on Navigation and Layout

It can definitely be trickier, but I've used iScroll in the past to achieve this with a nice fluid scroll.http://cubiq.org/iscroll

The only downside is you would likely need to capture the scrolling, and in JavaScript tell iScroll how much to scroll the div.  I'm sure there are other ways of doing this, but this is one way I found worked when I created LensBoost for BBOS back in the day.
