Altitude Accuracy is always "null"

i developed a webworks BB10 app with location services.

To make the data more accurate, i implemented some functions to check the gps accuracy of the position

 and the accuracy of the altitude

Checking the accuracy of the position works fine!

Checking the accuracy of the altitude fails.

More details:

I have a HTML5 coordinate called "coords" followed by some console logs like:

console.log('Pos ACC: '+position.coords.accuracy);
console.log('Pos HEADING: '+position.coords.heading);
console.log('Alt ACC: '+position.coords.altitudeAccuracy);

 Every log gives me the expected values - only the "altitudeAccuracy" is always "null".

For me it seems like a bug - cause in the Ripple Simulator the value is filled correctly.

But not on a (vmware Fusion) Simulator, not on my Z10.

(Tested versions in Fusion: BB10_1_X-1483 and BB10_0_10-261)

(Version on my Z10: BB10.0.10.99)

Perhaps anybody has the same problems? Or better: It works and i made a small mistake in my code!

Will be happy on any tip!!!

Re: Altitude Accuracy is always "null"

From the HTML API you're stuck

Soz - nothing in the API allows that to work

The same is true for Due North

I've started writing extensions so I'll ad it to my list of things to invesigae

Re: Altitude Accuracy is always "null"

But on the developer sites of BlackBerry there is an API for altitudeAccuracy:

readonly Number altitudeAccuracy

The altitudeAccuracy attribute is in meters.

So i think it should work inside a BlackBerry webworks app - right?

But this is the only paremter wich doesn´t work (except in the Ripple Simulator).
