Any way to return timezone information in request?

Hi,

I am writing a web application for the mobile users in our company.  The web application returns availiblity information on a person searched for.  The server returns the time as EST.  Is there any way to get in indication from the black berry browser as to what timezone it is in???

Thanks in advance for any help or advice given.

Re: Any way to return timezone information in request?

Not directly, but you could create a Date object in JavaScript and call the toUTCString() method to get the local time in a UTC string.  You could then compare this to the date you know is in the eastern time zone.
