I am getting an error when i deploy my application on the Playbook simulator.
"Error This file could not be opened. Check that you have the correct permissions and try again."
Here is my config.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <widget xmlns:rim="http://www.blackberry.com/ns/widgets" version="1.7.0" rim:header="RIM-Widget:rim/widget" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/ns/widgets"> <feature id="blackberry.ui.dialog" required="true" version="1.0.0"/> <rim:navigation mode="focus" /> <name>testapp1</name> <description>An example of a simple test app</description> <author rim:copyright="2012">someone</author> <rim:orientation mode="landscape"/> <rim:permissions> <rim:permit>access_shared</rim:permit> </rim:permissions> <content src="index.html" /> </widget>
Below is my file structure in the testapp1
index.html with the code
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no" /> </head> <body> <div x-ww-type="screen"> <div style="margin:15px;font-size:13pt;color:Gray;"> <p align="center">Simple Test Application</p> </div> </div> </body> </html>

Is the application correctly signed?
Just to confirm - you see this error from the blackberry-deploy command line prompt, or from the Tablet OS when you try to open the application?

Im getting the same error on BlackBerry Dev Alpha. With the Webworkds SDK that bar file is created without any errors. I then deplay the file to BlackBerry Dev Alpha, but when I start the application I get. "Error, This file could not be opened. Check that you have the correct permissions and try again"
I have check the app permissions and under setting-->security --->application permission and all permissions are set the "allow"
Any assistance will be appreciated
