I posed this question to the 'AppWorld Team' and they suggested I post here.
my screenshots for the most part look washed out or dull.
I've followed the instructions regarding image size and dpi
Tips anyone ?

which device are you talking about? As you may know some of the 'legacy' blackberry devices (such as the older curve models) dont have the sharpest screens, which means if you have a lot of very high quality and gradients in your images they wont turn out too well on those devices.

Web browsing to 'AppWorld' the screenshots I have submitted for individual apps appear washed out and dull
Don't know what I have done wrong in this instance
images begin as screen captures converted to.png @ 300 dpi x various sizes ( 480x480;640x640; 1920x1186) as requested by AppWorld.

This is because the image is shrink to fit in that small box in app world. If you double click on the image it should enlarge and be in full resolution. If you want to fix this you can make the image smaller and it will look better on the website. (althought i dotn think many ppl view apps on the website)
