Automatically reload the page state on "back" command

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I'm developing a BB10 application.

In a page, the user has to enter some keywords for a search. After pressing the "Search" button, my application shows the user an another screen containing the search results.

After pressing Back on the action bar, the user returns to the previous screen but the terms he/she wrote in the input are now lost.

Is there any way to mantain the inserted data in an automatic way?

Re: Automatically reload the page state on "back" command

are you using bbUI?

bbUI reloads the screen again (even if its going 'back'). There are some plans to overcome this, but they are not implemented yet.

One simple solution might be to retain the search item in memory and when opening the screen again put it back again...
