We are porting our Z10 app to Q10 but facing a lot of issues with the bbui.js's latest beta release.
The screen transitions are not smooth although we have written the following code in our config file.
<rim:transitionEffect type="fadeOut" /> </rim:loadingScreen>
We are not getting the fade effect. We are using bbui's 0.9.6 beta release. BBUI 0.9.5 does not support development for Q10. What can be done to solve the transistions issue. The whole UI gets distorted on Z10. We want to use a single build for Z10 and Q10.

2 things I recommend you confirm :
1) Make sure you using version 0.9.6.113 or higher. This contains a fix for Q10 support.
2) Make sure your bbUI initialization logic is properly detecting BlackBerry 10, like this:
The rim:transitionEffect element is not supported by BlackBerry 10. Setting it in your config will have no effect on your Q10 or Z10 app
If you want to do page transition effects in bbUI.js, you define a data-bb-effect property in your HTML. See docs here:
