BlackBerry API has such possibility?

Hi all. I recently started working on HTML5 program for BB OS7. And at this point I need to intercept data (tags) about a song that is listening on the default player, as well as state player (play, pause, etc.) Can it be done using BB API? As the examples given there, I see no possibility of such interaction.

Sorry for bad English. Thank you!
