Re: BlackBerry WebWorks and QR Code Scanner

Hi Tim,

Just a quick question on an old discussion we had Smiley Happy This is regarding the QR Code Scanner for PlayBook. Will RIM be planning to implement a real time QR scanner for Tablet OS in the near future? I mean like the one implemented using Adobe AIR for Tablet OS.

Re: BlackBerry WebWorks and QR Code Scanner

As far as WebWorks goes, we don't have any near term plans to create a real time QR code scanner API for PlayBook.

Hello Praveen,

You always choose to create your own Javascript extension of-course.

And maybe even submit it to GitHub for WebWorks.

I might be in that spot soon and would be happy to share the WebWorks JavaScript extention in the forums.

We migth help eachother out in perfecting it ;-).
