I written a code for arabic input field, which the user should enter right to left. BB6.0 and above is working fine, but BB5.0 device and simulator is not working with the right alignment in text field.
here is the code...
<body style="direction:rtl"> <input type="number" style="text-align:right; direction:rtl;" maxlength="9" id="username" name="username" /> </body>
Please suggest me to solve this issue.

i dont have a solution but i believe text-align right is not an html5 supported standard and the default/standard positioning of text in an input box is left-aligned

I'm sorry I don't have a workaround for you to offer.
Unless someone else has had any success with this, I believe this is an unfortunate limitation of the OS 5.0 browser engine.
