CSS Opacity property

Does the opacity CSS property works on Webapps? I have tried the following 2 options but can not figure out the proper syntax. Any feedback will be appreciated?

filter

opacity

:alpha(opacity=60); :0.6;

Re: CSS Opacity property

Hi There,

Unfortunately opacity CSS capability is not currently supported in the BlackBerry Browser

Re: CSS Opacity property

Thanks for the fast reponse.  If opacity is not supported, is there any other recommended way to generate semi-transparent objects?

Re: CSS Opacity property

One trick that I have seen some internal people do is to create a translucent PNG that is about 2x2 pixels and then stretch it over the surface in a <div> that has a higher z-index
