Catch Key press on letter D



The letter D is usually use to go up.

How can I catch this event (Key press on D) in my widget ?

Do you think that I can create a javascript extension to catch the key press on letter D ?

You could create an extension... I have seen others tackle the problem by having an hidden input box and setting focus to it.


You can trap key presses, but it will only happen when you have focus on an input box.  You are not able to trap key strokes of a general DOM element.
