Custom keyboard

I want to develop custom keyboard for blackberry. I live in Bulgaria and we use cyrilic, but cyrilic is not supported by blackberries provided by M-tel ( our local careers ), the close you can get to Bulgarian keyboard is Russian keyboard, but they're some slightly differences. I want to develop a custom bulgarian Keyboard ( a lot of friends asked for this )

I already wrote the transliteratrion function on JS and it is working great, but I have no expirience in BB api. So is it possible to make a custom keyboard for blackbberry with WebWorks, and if so - what tou think is the best way to do this? I thaught of something like preventing the default behaviour when the focus is on textfield , transliterate the key and then append to the textfield.

How is that possible with BB API? Thank you for support
