Detecting touchevents on storm 2

Can you detech touch events on the Storm? alert(document.ontouchstart) and alert(window.ontouchstart) seem to be undefined

On BB5 you are unable to trap touch events.  Only starting with BB6 where WebKit made its debut

Hey I saw your post on using "fixed" toolbar example I point you to my example http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Tutorial-quot-FIXED-quot-top-men... it is not the best solution but can anything be adapted to it?
