Disabling over-scroll?

Hey guys,

So when I have my application and I have a scrollable screen when I boot it onto my blackberry I am getting a white background showing (around 50px and not good in a dark grey application) on the top and bottom in 'over-scroll' bounce type effect.

Does anyone known how to disable this, the internet seems very sparse with information on it.

Thanks,

Re: Disabling over-scroll?

Hi MikeBurgess,

Do you have a meta tage declaring a viewport? Something like the following should fix your problem

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,target-densitydpi=device-dpi,user-scalable=no,initial-scale=1.0">

Re: Disabling over-scroll?

Yes I do have viewport tags set which are this:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,height=device-height,user-scalable=no,initial-scale=1.0">

Don't have the DPI stuff but that shouldnt make a difference?. Just to clarify it is scaling correctly but its the overscroll beyond my background that 'bounces' back, when I let go of the scroll action it auto-scrolls back to just having my background in view, looking correct.

Thanks,
