That might be the problem why we do not have a suitable and well known GPS offboard navigation on the PlayBook, like on other mobile OS's.

Re: Geolocation on Playbook: Only brings back Timeouts - no Position :(

Ok, my code works! (with watchPosition)  It probably always did. I took my playbook outside in the backyard, turned on Bing map and just left it there for 10 minutes.  When I came back it did show my location. I started my app and ..... worked!

Re: Geolocation on Playbook: Only brings back Timeouts - no Position :(

Nice to know "it seems to be working but... not very well". As I mentioned this seems to be a problem on PlayBook and also for the BB10 at this time to get a fast fix for GPS. If you are using the devices outside almost every time and a GPS app is running all the time the fix will be fast, but if you are inside for some hours or days with the PlayBook or BB10 it needs 2-5min. for me in almost every case.
