For those people new to IRC (or only remember what it was like in the early 90s), do you have a IRC for dummies link or any IRC client recommendations?

well for Linux I use: konversation

the windows client i know of is: mirc

Favourite Windows client seems to be the free build of XChat, called "XChat 2".
