An Html app uses Google maps and the google maps SDK. It works fine on all the modern browsers we've tested, but now we are running into some odd behaviors on Blackberry 10. We present the user a "get directions" button whichi is an <a> tag like:
9975999999999&daddr=41.76166%2C-88.442319" data-role="button" data-theme="b" rel="external" target="_blank" data-corners="true" data-shadow="true" data-iconshadow="true" data-wrapperels="span" class="ui-btn ui-shadow ui-btn-corner-all ui-btn-up-b">show directions</a>
This opens the link in a new tab. The link in this example is http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=41.89415%2C-87.7
When clicked on a Blackberry Z10, Google maps displays the text directions, however the overlay image of the route which should be displayed on the map view is displayed over the text directions. See attached. By toggling the Map/Directions button you can make the overlay go away.
Is this a known issue? are there any workarounds?

Ok, how about a different question. Can anyone else duplicate this by clicking the link https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=41.89415,-87.79
