HTML Content not displaying in BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator

Hi,

I have some HTML code which I am running into Ripple Emulator and its working fine in it.

When I try to build and Run same code on BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator nothing is displaying on my screen. I am just getting blank screen with a some kind of loader running on in it.

I tried to run my app with web inspector enabled but I am not getting anything into web Inspector's console, not even able to debug my HTML code.

My HTML page is single page jQueryMobile based architecture. I am using jQuery, jQueryMobile and underscore.js JavaScript libraries.

Please help if I am missing anything. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Aviral

Re: HTML Content not displaying in BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator

From what you tell us it looks like there's a JS error on loading

Ripple will ignore a fail and keep loading, BB10 will crash and burn

Load your app in Ripple then right click anywhere on the screen

Now select Instect Element

You will, most likely, see a red cross symbol in the lower right

Press <ESC> and see what it says

Don't worry - I do this all the time and I've been developing since the Internet was born - these things can be hard to track down unless you know where you may have got summat wrong and fix it
