when playing flash video from a remote address (eg youtube) playbook stays on, if i embed swf file locally playbook turns off (backlight & standby) even if video playing. Is it possible to keep playbook on when playing local swf files?

I have developed a html5 application and packaged it with the webworks package.
in the my application their is a video player , whcih plays in the browser. but in the packaged application. the device video player is comming up. even though the video is playing in app.
Can any body help me how to stop using device player.

If you are referring to the video automatically going into fullscreen (and providing it's own controls), add webkit-playsinline to the video tag, as such:
<video width="620" height="352" webkit-playsinline> <source src="./movie.mp4" type="video/mp4"/> </video>
This will prevent auto-full screen + device player controls.
