My development has pretty much slowed to a crawl as well since the Gold SDK was released.  There's only so much you can do in Ripple.  Having a working simulator or Dev Alpha to test on is key.  RIM does not seem to be applying any particular urgency to this issue.  The Gold SDK has been out for almost a month now and still no resolution to this issue.  This behaviour by RIM is not aligned with their stated objective to maximise app count and quality at launch.  Leaving developers in the lurch and providing no workarounds is not a good way attract talent to the platform.

I hope the update it's before the official launch at least...

Anyway it's really bad news...Ripple it's a pain to work.
