JavaScript Extensions (wrong?)

The code below seems broken from the outset as t will apparently return the same value every call regardless of the result of the Java bridge

I intend to write a collection of support routines but as my Java is lacking I want to be sure that I get it right

I would, personally, be returning TRUE or FALSE

package samplecode;

import net.rim.device.api.script.ScriptableFunction;
import net.rim.device.api.system.Alert;

public final class AlertFunction extends ScriptableFunction
    public Object invoke(Object obj, Object[] args) throws Exception
        if (!Alert.isVibrateSupported())
            return UNDEFINED;
        if (args.length == 1)
            int duration = ((Integer) args[0]).intValue();
        return UNDEFINED;

Re: JavaScript Extensions (wrong?)

HI peardox,

Looking at the code, all exists from the function return UNDEFINED.. If you need it to return different values you will need to ensure that the different exit routes of the function return your desired TRUE or FALSE
