Javascript capabilties OS 10

[ Edited ]

I want to read a zip file from a server and unzip it.

Are there API:s for that?  Or can I use JavaScript? Or do I have to write my own "API"

OOPS! Found out that there was an API for reading file.

Still wonder about "Unzip"

http://caniuse.com is a good resource. (no relation to drugs!)

You can search by browser or by compatibility etc...
